This is no beginner’s charm. This is the first law of legend: Begin.
Wood Paths
The Adventurer’s Token is offered in three paths: First Light (Maple), Oathbound (Oak), and Twilight Mark (Walnut). Choose the relic that fits the beginning of your tale.
“From dawn to dusk, from oath to shadow—choose the tray that shapes your tale.”
First Light
Light (Maple)Lore: “Carved from the sapwood of the Northern Glades, where the sun never quite sets—this token stirs when dreams are still forming.”
Oathbound
Lore: “Oak-born and oath-bound, this token bears the grain of every fire it’s seen. For those whose choices echo louder than their steps.”
Twilight Mark
Lore: “Wrought from a night-stilled grove, where silent blades and whispered pacts are made—this token holds the memory of shadowed roads.”
The Relic of Origin: In the age before maps, there were tokens—crafted by hand, marked by purpose, and carried by those who followed the stars rather than the roads. This was one such relic, first carved by Lysara the Waykeeper, whose signs still line the hidden paths of the Whispering Vale. Each bearer of the Adventurer’s Token is said to forge a new thread in the tapestry of fate—though no two tokens are ever the same. When held at the moment of decision, the glyph warms faintly. It is not magic—it is memory. The memory of a thousand beginnings, and the silence before the story begins. Carry it. Not as a charm, but as a covenant.
